Tent Camping VS Pull Behind Campers
I went camping a few weeks ago and noticed the amount of pulled behind campers as opposed to tents. They were divided about 50/50 along the camp ground, but it got me to thinking about the advantage of having a pull behind camper instead of using a tent and here is what I can up with.
When camping with a tent you can setup almost anywhere as long as you have a clear area big enough to place your tent. In some areas on the campground people had two tents where only one camper could be placed. A pull behind camper requires a space large enough for your truck and camper and you must have a level place to park. And speaking of your truck it has to be large enough to pull the camper. With tent camping, you can drive anything you want because your tent isn’t going to take up much space. A new Pulled behind camper cost somewhere around $12000, but it has a nice bed to sleep in and you can store some of your camping supplies in the camper. After looking at the advantages and disadvantages between tents and pull behind camper, I’ve come to the conclusion that either one is good as long as your spending time with your family.
